The Administrative Analyst
- Finance supports the Chesterfield-Colonial Heights Department of Social Services by providing financial and management analysis to the finance team and department leadership. The role involves reconciling financial reports, analyzing budgetary data, monitoring grants, and assisting with annual budget preparation while ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, public administration, or related field
- Working knowledge of accounting principles, methods, practices, and data processing applications
- Demonstrated ability to analyze fiscal data, devise accounting procedures, and interpret financial information
- Preferred:
Two to three years of professional-level administrative and analytical support in accounting - Experience in local government or social services preferred
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and knowledge of budget management
