Overview

Targeting Officer:
Leidos has multiple Targeting Officer positions in Northern Virginia. Candidates must have or be able to attain a TS/SCI clearance with polygraph examination. Willing and able to work a weekly rotating 24/7 shift schedule, to include weekends and holidays.

Targeting Officers are responsible for guiding and monitoring the execution of collection operations and integrating that collection into a cohesive intelligence narrative. That narrative, incorporating highly complex and specialized multi-INT information, must be communicated regularly to a wide audience of stakeholders, in written form and verbally in both formal and ad-hoc briefings. Throughout this process, Targeting Officers must be able to identify gaps in information and take proactive steps to address those gaps.

• Key skills for success include the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, often under high stress.
• Targeting Officers must be able to think critically and communicate highly complex information accurately, clearly, and in the proper context of a larger effort.
• Candidates should be comfortable and familiar with drafting and disseminating written RFIs.
• The ability to confidently and clearly deliver concise briefings is a key skill for Targeting Officers.

• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to multitask.
• Ability to work in high stress environments.
• Experience with targeting tools, databases, and different intel sources.

Bachelor’s degree and at least 4 to 8 years of full-time professional experience. Candidates with a Master’s degree are highly desirable with 2 to 6 years experience.

Pay Range: $72,150.00 - $
