$400 Sign-on Bonus*

We’re seeking a full-time Instructional Assistant to be part of a dynamic team at a Special Education Private Day School focused on trauma-informed behavioral therapy and early intervention for children aged 2 to 15. Staff administers instruction based on individualized behavior plans and academic programs, supported by qualified, collaborative professionals and clinicians. Successful candidates will be professional and motivated with experience in special education, autism, or early intervention.

• Provide 1 to 3 direct and group instruction to neurodiverse students under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst, based on Applied Behavioral Analysis principles.
• Supervise assigned students at all times to ensure safety of students, peers, and staff.
• Maintain documentation on outcomes of discrete trial programming and behavior analysis data.
• Assist with student assessments under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst.
• Design and implement dynamic instruction with initiative and creativity.
• Provide support in crisis situations using Safety Care approved techniques.
• Deliver any other required services to aid students in reaching their full potential.
• Work efficiently under minimal supervision and take appropriate initiative.
• Meet physical requirements associated with the position.
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, provide fingerprints, and demonstrate a negative TB test on hire.
• Maintain CPR, First Aid, and Safety Care certifications (training provided).
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant office productivity software.
• Possess a high school diploma (Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred).

Pay Range: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience, education, and certification

* ABA Sign-On Bonus is paid after 90 days of working with clients. Bonus will vary based on ABA work experience, education, certification, and meeting all job requirements.
