The Rehabilitation Technician assists therapists and therapy assistants as assigned. Primary duties include routine cleaning, quality control checks, room set‑up, inventory ordering, preparing patients and equipment for treatment, assistance with patient care, and related documentation.
Essential Functions- Communicate with patients, visitors and all other customers in accordance with organization guidelines; liaise with therapists and other team members regarding patient care.
- Perform routine data functions in patient care databases and systems, including electronic medical records.
- Assist therapists and assistants with patient care as needed.
- Maintain adequate department supplies within budget as directed by leadership.
- Perform cleaning and quality control checks, temperature checks, whirlpool cultures, and other items as delegated by leadership.
- Complete record‑keeping and other tasks assigned by leadership; assist with transportation of patients according to therapist instructions using proper technique and equipment.
- High School Diploma or General Educational Diploma (GED) (required)
- BLS Basic Life Support (preferred upon hire; required within 30 days for BSMH, required at hire for RSFH)

Skills & Abilities- General computer skills including data entry, word processing, email, and records management.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of all work‑related and sensitive information.
- Ability to work well with all levels of patients, the public, and other health care professionals.
