Caregiver – Senior Helpers

• Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing, bathroom needs, feeding)
• Light housekeeping/household management (laundry, linen change)
• Apparel selection (laying out clothes)

• Mobility support (standby assist, transfer, hoyer lift)
• Transportation (own or client’s vehicle)
• Teaching family members safe care techniques
• Tolerance to small pets (dogs and/or cats)

• Treat clients with dignity and respect
• Read, write, and speak English at an average adult level and interpret the Plan of Care Document provided by Senior Helpers
• Spanish speakers welcomed; se habla Español
• Driver preferred; valid US driver’s license with no serious violations
• Ability to use public transportation to reach work
• Flexible and adaptable to new situations
• Pass a criminal background check prior to employment with Senior Helpers
• Prior experience with dementia patients and senior care a plus (not required)
• Available to be reached via phone or email for shift schedules, client updates, and emergencies

Competitive pay. Minimum shifts are 4 hours.
