Pharmacy Technician

As a Pharmacy Technician you will support the pharmacy team in accurately and safely filling prescriptions, providing compassionate customer service, and ensuring compliance with all regulatory and safety standards. You will complete CVS Pharmacy Technician Training, meet all state licensure requirements, and build clinical, technical, and insurance knowledge.

• Manage pharmacy workstations and tasks to fill prescriptions accurately and efficiently.
• Provide caring service that exceeds customer expectations.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and ethical conduct at all times.
• Complete extensive training and meet all registration, licensing, and certification requirements.
• Follow all Federal, State and Local laws and regulations.
• Adhere to COVID‑19 vaccination policy unless medically exempt.

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Licensure requirements vary by state.
• Attention and focus; ability to concentrate on a task for a period of time without distraction.
• Customer service orientation; look for ways to help people in a friendly manner.
• Communication skills; use verbal and written communication to interact with customers and colleagues.
• Mathematical reasoning; solve problems such as calculating day’s supply of a prescription.
• Problem resolution; recognize when something is wrong or likely to go wrong and choose the best course of action.

• Previous experience in a pharmacy, retail, medical, or customer service setting.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.
• PTCB National Certification.

• Remaining upright on the feet for sustained periods; moving about on foot between work areas.
• Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working primarily with fingers.
• Occasional lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Part‑time 20 hours per week.
• Hourly pay range $16.50 – $25.00.
