* **** Occupational Therapist working alongside experienced team of therapists. We are a company of collaboration, high energy, and positive work environment. Everyone at Adler Therapy Group works as team! We provide significant education opportunities, monthly team huddles within each discipline, and outside work events quarterly. We are a privately owned clinic that doesn't have a corporate structure and each therapist is allowed to be creative with their approach!

All sessions are scheduled for 1 hour! Not 40 and 45 minutes like many other companies!

We continue to hire to meet the demands of our patients and rapidly growing referral lists. We pay a guaranteed annual salary which is negotiable.

Adler Therapy Group specializes in delivering Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, and Speech Language Pathology for pediatrics, adolescents and adults. We also have a dedicated Wheelchair Seating and Mobility Clinic as well as an Augmentative/Assistive Technology Clinic serving all ages including infants and toddlers as well as adolescents and adults. Our specialty clinics offer personalized evaluations to determine the individualized needs of each and every client.

pay range

$72,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr

Essential Job Functions Initial
  • E Review physician's referral and patient's medical records.
  • E Perform an initial evaluation in which the following is completed: parent/patient report of medical history, informal clinical observations, administration of a variety of formal assessments, and discussion of parent/patient goals for occupational therapy intervention.
  • E Document an initial evaluation in which data is evaluated in order to determine clinical diagnoses, appropriate goals, and best plan of care.
Treatment
  • E Perform treatments comprised of evidence based practice.
  • E Provide information to the patient and family about the proposed intervention, material risks and expected benefits, and any reasonable alternatives.
  • Provide educational information to patient and family throughout plan of care.
  • Administer treatment involving application of physical agent modalities (eg. hot packs, cryotherapy, paraffin bath, ultra sound, NMES, TENS, etc).
  • E Safely set up and administer the patient’s use of various equipment (eg. hand bike, pediatric gym equipment, etc)
  • E Document daily notes comprised of treatment provided, patient’s response, and progress gained for justification of OT services.
  • Evaluate effects of treatment at various stages utilizing formal assessments as appropriate, and adjust treatments and goals to achieve maximum benefit.
  • Track recertifications and progress notes and complete within the required timeline.
  • Recommend, refer, and modify various adaptive equipment.
  • Create and update home exercise program throughout plan of care.
  • E Complete all documentation within the required timeframe.
  • Discharge patient from occupational therapy when goals or projected outcomes have been attained and provide for appropriate follow-up care or referrals.
  • Direct, supervise, assess, and communicate with supportive administrative personnel.
  • Inform patients and refer to appropriate practitioners when diagnosis reveals findings outside of occupational therapy.
  • Collaborate with medical practitioners or other disciplines (eg. ST, PT, School, ABA) to plan, implement, or assess the intervention program to promote best plan of care.
  • Teach occupational therapy students or those in other health professions.
  • Refer clients to community resources or services.
  • Participate in community or community agency activities or help to formulate public policy.
  • Conduct or support research and apply research findings to practice.
