The Department of Medicine's Division of Nephrology at the University of Virginia, School of Medicine, is seeking applicants for a tenure‑eligible Clinical Faculty position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor at our Lynchburg and Farmville, Virginia area locations. Rank and compensation will be dependent upon qualifications. You will have the opportunity to join a group of twenty‑eight (28) nephrologists and be associated with a well‑respected, academic health system.

UPG boasts 1,200 providers who serve patients at the main UVA Medical Center in Charlottesville and in the 24 primary and specialty care locations throughout Charlottesville, Central and Northern Virginia. The UVA Health System has five long‑established dialysis units in Lynchburg, Amherst, Appomattox and Alta‑Vista, Virginia, including a vibrant home dialysis program.
Qualifications- MD or equivalent degree.
- Board‑certified or board‑eligible in Internal Medicine and Nephrology by appointment start date.
- Commitment to clinical excellence and teaching.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience working across disciplines.
- Will be required to undergo a background check and pre‑employment health/drug screening.
