Job Summary: A new site is seeking twelve CRNAs for a 12-week assignment with an estimated privileging timeframe of approximately 30 days, including the option for temporary privileges within 30–60 days. Candidates needing to obtain a state license will be considered. The case mix includes general, neuro, orthopedic, OB, urology, gynecology, ophthalmology, and endoscopy cases.
The schedule offers flexibility with required 8-, 10-, and 12-hour shifts, as well as 24-hour OB coverage opportunities. Day shifts are required, with in-house call and holiday shifts preferred. Overtime is not expected but is available. The facility uses EPIC for charting and operates under a medically directed model with MD supervision at a 1:4 ratio, with MDs also performing their own cases and rare MD-only cases.
CRNAs will be responsible for full peri‑anesthetic care, including pre‑anesthesia assessments, patient consent, anesthetic planning, induction, maintenance, emergence, monitoring, and necessary clinical interventions. Candidates must hold a current RN license, have graduated from an accredited nurse anesthesia program, and be certified or recertified by the AANA Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Requirements- Current certification as a CRNA by the National Board on Certification and Recertification of Nurse Anesthetists (NBCRNA)
- Valid, unrestricted RN and CRNA licenses in Virginia
- Minimum of 1–3 years of CRNA experience preferred; proficiency in various case types
- Strong clinical knowledge and ability to provide anesthesia care to diverse patient populations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with patients, families, and the care team
- BLS and ACLS required; PALS and other advanced certifications as applicable
- Flexible schedule with locum contract options
