Restorative Certified Nursing Assistant; CNA- Part Time

Mathews, Virginia Riverside Lifelong Health & Rehabilitation Mathews is currently seeking a compassionate Part time Day Shift Restorative Aide (CNA) to join our care team in Mathews, Virginia . In this role, you’ll help residents maintain and improve their functional abilities through restorative programs—while providing hands‑on CNA care that makes a real difference every day.

Works under the supervision of Nursing Manager/Supervisor. Administers restorative care treatments as determined by the interdisciplinary team. Documents restorative care in EMR and monitors CNA documentation when they provide restorative care to residents.

• Maintains appropriate medical records for each patient. Documents restorative care in EMR. Monitors for compliance in documentation of CNA's providing restorative care.
• Allows resident choices within limits of capability considering safety / dignity issues and follows policies and procedures of facility to include resident privacy and dignity.
• Performs restorative care programs outlined for each resident as determined by the interdisciplinary team. Provides feedback to team. Utilizes opportunities to coach staff on restorative care and safety techniques.
• Follows universal precautions, proper infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice in all work and activities.

Education

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)

Experience

• Restorative nursing experience (Preferred)

Licenses and Certifications

• Certified Nurse Aid (CNA) - Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP) Upon Hire(Required)
• CPR/BLS Certification - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
• First Aid - American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) (Required)
