Job Summary:

Plan, direct, or coordinate activities in fields such as information systems, systems analysis, and computer programming. This role involves managing smaller budget projects, providing technical support, and ensuring effective communication and coordination among various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

Review project plans to plan and coordinate project activity.

Manage backup, security, and user help systems.

Operate smaller budget projects.

Consult with users, management, vendors, and technicians to assess computing needs and system requirements.

Meet with department heads, managers, supervisors, vendors, and others to solicit cooperation and resolve problems.

Provide users with technical support for computer problems.

Skills and Experience:

Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills.

Basic ability to work independently and manage one's time.

Basic knowledge of computer hardware and software.

Basic knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.

Basic knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.

Basic knowledge of computer software, such as Visual Basic, Java, SQL, etc.

Good awareness of HL7 integration standards, secure MFT tools, and data extract services.

Experience with Jira is required.

Hospital experience is important, particularly familiarity with HL7 as a hospital system standard for integration.

Understanding of data extracts and interfaces to avoid being blindsided by new terminology or processes.

Additional Information:

No certification requirements (e.g., PMP or PMI).

A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required.

The project is expected to last approximately nine months, with potential for extension.

The role will focus on data extracts and integration work, under the guidance of an overall project manager.

Preferred candidates will have 5-7 years of experience in project management roles.

Candidates must be able to work central time zone hours, regardless of their location.

The position is remote, with rare occurrences of on-site travel.
