We are seeking a Salesforce Technical Analyst to help bridge the gap between business needs and technical delivery. This role focuses on designing scalable Salesforce solutions, improving system integration, and ensuring alignment across multiple enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will understand how Salesforce fits into a broader IT ecosystem and will play a key role in driving cross-functional collaboration, reducing silos, and improving the long-term supportability of USPS systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze business requirements and design scalable Salesforce solutions that align with enterprise architecture and program goals.
- Serve as a liaison between development teams and business stakeholders, ensuring requirements account for cross-functional impacts and system dependencies.
- Design and document process flows, data models, and integration points across Salesforce and other enterprise platforms.
- Support system integration efforts by working with APIs, middleware, and third-party applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Salesforce issues, ensuring timely root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data governance, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation including configuration guides, integration specifications, and support materials.
- Provide stakeholder updates, facilitate workshops, and align technical solutions with business strategy.
- Partner with QA and testing teams to validate solutions meet both functional and technical requirements.
- Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and best practices adoption.
Qualifications
Required
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card; able to obtain Public Trust clearance.
- 7+ years of experience working with Salesforce in a technical analyst, systems analyst, or solutioning role.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, data model, and integration methods (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware tools, etc.).
- Experience working with large-scale enterprise platforms and reporting systems.
- Knowledge of relational databases, data modeling, and reporting concepts.
- Familiarity with requirements management and documentation tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Visio, Lucidchart).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel pivot tables, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language.
- Prior consulting or professional services experience.
Preferred
- Salesforce Administrator or Platform App Builder certification(s).
- Exposure to Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWCs), or other Salesforce development tools.
- Familiarity with USPS internal platforms such as CFR and Panorama (a plus, but not required).
