Senior Data Engineer

Andrew Morgan Consulting, LLC (AMC) is a rapidly growing Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and HUBZone-certified organization. We are seeking a qualified Senior Data Engineer to support a potential contract award with Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) Digital Health Office, Office of Health Informatics (OHI), Health Information Governance (HIG) Data Quality Program. This role is contingent upon contract award and will play a critical part in our efforts to deliver exceptional results for this opportunity.

• Lead the development and implementation of data engineering solutions for healthcare identity management and clinical data quality.
• Support the VA Master Person Index (VA MPI) and associated data pipelines.
• Conduct data analysis and reporting to improve data accuracy and interoperability.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to optimize data governance strategies.

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering and healthcare IT.
• Expertise in SQL, Python, Power BI, TOAD, and cloud data platforms.
• Experience with healthcare interoperability standards (FHIR, HL7).
• Strong understanding of VA healthcare data environments.

Salary is commensurate with both location and experience.

  Execute tasks independently, seeking client assistance only after internal resources are exhausted, ensuring requests align with contract goals.
