OSS On Site Services Engineer

Join Hitachi Energy Transformers - Business Solutions IT Organization as an OSS On-Site Services Engineer at our Bland location. In this role, you'll be the go-to expert for desk-side IT support, ensuring smooth operations and exceptional user experiences. You'll troubleshoot issues, manage hardware logistics, and act as the face of IT for our local teams. Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

• Troubleshoot IT issues requiring physical intervention.
• Deliver ready-to-use computers to users.
• Provide ad-hoc training and guide users through self-service tools.
• Manage physical stock of devices and accessories, including CMDB updates.
• Perform regular inventory checks for hardware.
• Coordinate logistics for device shipping and movement.
• Handle warranty cases with OEM vendors.
• Support IT equipment and software in meeting rooms and collaboration areas.

• Formal IT qualification or apprenticeship in information technology.
• Minimum 2 years of professional IT support experience.
• Fluent in English and local language with strong communication skills.
• Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with ability to work independently.
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S.; U.S. citizenship required.
• Familiarity with tools like Service Now, MS Office 365, Windows, iOS, and asset management systems.
