Our client, a growing IT Services company, are hiring a Service Now Business Analyst with active secret clearance to join their team in Virginia. The successful candidate will be responsible to serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure effective delivery of Service Now solutions.
Responsibilities- Gather, analyze and translate business requirements into functional specifications and user stories.
- Support the design, configuration and optimisation of Service Now ITSM, ITOM and CMDB modules.
- Conduct workshops, discovery sessions and process reviews to identify improvements and streamline workflows.
- Collaborate with developers to validate solutions, clarify requirements and ensure alignment with platform standards.
- Create and maintain process maps, documentation, reporting dashboards and knowledge articles.
- Provide training, demos and onboarding support to end users and stakeholders.
- Active Secret Clearance is required.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator or other relevant certifications is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar.
- Minimum of 5 years of Business Analyst experience, including at least 2 years of hands‑on work with Service Now.
- Deep knowledge of ITSM, ITOM and CMDB modules, and overall platform capabilities.
- Experience working within Agile environments, using tools such as JIRA or Azure Dev Ops.
- Strong skills in requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation.
- Familiarity with Service Now scripting (JavaScript, Glide API) and dashboard/report development.
- Excellent analytical and communication abilities, with a proven track record of building trust across both technical and business teams.
- Salary: $160k
