DMI, LLC is seeking a Mobile Device Management Support to support a federal customer in the DC Metro area.
Duties and Responsibilities- Serve as a user liaison covering basic computer system end‑user operations, including system sign‑on, menu and help usage, Microsoft Office programs, telecommunications, and troubleshooting of computers and printers.
Education and Experience:
- BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, or an equivalent combination of education or experience;
Engineering or a closely related academic field. - Strong knowledge of a Mobile Device Management System, preferably Microsoft Intune, MAAS
360, and/or Apple Business Manager. - High proficiency with Excel (table joins, V‑lookup, pivot tables, etc.).
- Experience as a Service Desk Technician or 3–5 years of IT experience.
Required Skills/
Certifications:
- Detail‑oriented logging of all user contacts, entering calls into a Service Desk Automated Tool (Service Now preferred).
- Support and provision of mobile devices through an MDM software.
- Excellent customer service orientation and verbal communication skills.
- Experience supporting and maintaining mobile communication devices.
- Competencies in communication, presentation, technical capacity, organization, customer focus, decision making, discretion, and ethical conduct.
- Lead technicians in onsite support activities, including inventory management.
- Liaise with and support customer VIPs.
- Perform complex installations and configurations of desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and associated peripherals and software.
- Lead teams in onsite updates, configuration changes, or software installations.
- Write technical/functionality specification documentation such as Knowledgebase entries.
- Basic experience with enterprise networking, monitoring, troubleshooting, and management tools for mobile devices and peripherals.
- Experience supporting Windows, macOS, and Microsoft Office environments.
Desired Skills/
Certifications:
- ITIL V4 certification.
Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Public Trust background investigation and/or a Public Trust clearance.
