Building interim Data & Engineering teams across the USSr Data Scientist
Harnham, the leading recruitment specialist in Data and AI is currently partnering with one of the leading Data consultancies in the US which dominates the risk sector across the Sports industry.
- Role - Sr Data Scientist
- Location - Remote
- Pay - $100 - 120 ph
- Length: 6 - 12 month initial contract (which potential conversion to full-time employee at the end)
- Benefits: W2 employees are eligible to health, dental, vision, 401k benefits.
As a Sr Data Scientist you will be focused the majority of your time on building Data models, analysing risks & injuries across multiple sporting sectors in the US. You will get the opportunity to work on some of the most interesting & innovative models which has huge cultural impact globally.
You will be using ML to build Data Models including with VLMs and LLMs to assess the risk of injury to players through play & facilities to help the world of sport ensure the best players are playing, and not in the medical room.
Key Responsibilities- Building Data Models focused on injury assessment
- Work with Jr Data Scientists in the team to provide guidance and direction to their work and act as a technical lead
- Work with VLMs to assess impact of changes and environment to player welfare
- Use and utilize AI to build best-in-class models
- Degree in Comp Sci, Stats or STEM
- Strong ML experience
- Experience working with VLM inputs into data modelling in production
- Demonstrable production experience with Python
- AWS background
- Experience with in the Sports sector or industry
