Security Control Assessor; SCA - Level 4

Job Description

Parsons is looking for a talented Senior SCA to join our growing team!

• Develop and implement procedures for product testing.
• Review and evaluate test results and recommend production or design changes to ensure compliance with quality and performance standards.
• Design and develop engineering standards and tests to evaluate the functionality of products and systems.
• Perform information systems assessment and authorization (A&A) as defined in applicable ICDs and guidance.
• Develop and implement security-related directives and guidance for IA/IT/IM.
• Utilize risk management strategies for information technology solutions.
• Coordinate A&A activities of industry and government information systems and manage and track systems involved in the A&A process.
• Manage program and project implementation and make significant contributions to department goals and planning efforts.

• Active Top Secret/Sci with CI Poly.
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of relevant experience (non-degreed candidates require 15+ years).
• Experience developing and implementing security-related directives and guidance for IA, IT, and IM.
• Active IAM Level III certification (must obtain/maintain within 6 months of hire).

• Experience in technical project management.
• Technical understanding of emerging technologies and their implementation within government system and network environments.
• Knowledge of information technology concepts used in evaluating security performance and integrity of state-of-the-art applications, communications systems, hardware, software, satellite control systems, and information processing systems.
• Technical understanding of information technology systems, software, and networks.

An active Top Secret SCI with Polygraph security clearance is required for this position.
