This position is located in USA VA Arlington; hybrid working model is acceptable.

• Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models, defining how data is structured, stored, and accessed within databases and data warehouses.
• Work closely with business analysts, data architects, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Ensure data accuracy and consistency by implementing data validation rules and maintaining data quality standards.
• Optimize data models for performance, ensuring efficient data retrieval and processing.
• Document data models, metadata, and data flows, providing a clear understanding of the data landscape.
• Implement and maintain data models, ensuring they align with evolving business needs and technical requirements.

• Bachelor’s degree and/or 2 to 5 years of experience
• Able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI with Poly; active TS/SCI with Poly highly desired
• Strong understanding of database concepts, SQL, data modeling tools, and various data modeling techniques (e.g., dimensional modeling, entity-relationship modeling)
• Ability to analyze complex data requirements, identify patterns, and design effective data models
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Ability to troubleshoot data-related issues and optimize data models for performance
