CFC has a need for a Sr. Manager, Development and Integration to join the Business Technology Services team. The Senior Manager, Development and Integration will be responsible for CFC Digital Strategy delivery, cloud solutions and managing a software development team to design, develop and unit test software solutions on maintenance, enhancement and initiative projects. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite work at our headquarters office in Sterling, VA, as well as optional remote workdays.
Responsibilities- Provide agile leadership and digital transformations on software projects and initiatives utilizing internal resources, consultants, 3rd Party Vendors and Cloud providers to integrate legacy and target state applications into operationally sustainable capabilities for CFC and to deliver high quality solutions.
- Research and implement best practices and provide recommendations to senior leadership for application target state and multi-year roadmaps.
- Develop solution architecture in a heterogeneous technology environment including on premise legacy and target state technologies, Cloud, Enterprise COTS packages and future state technologies.
- Onboard future state technologies, including solution, support, associated tools, cost-benefit, TCO; work in partnership with CFC Business & Enterprise Architecture. This extends to vendors as well.
- Hire, develop, motivate and mentor staff.
- Manage vendor relationships as they pertain to system development and ongoing maintenance.
- Monitor and ensure problems are resolved per SLA regarding L3 tickets assigned to self and staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, related technical degree or the equivalent in work experience required.
- 10 years managing a software development team in a matrixed environment.
- 10 years managing software deliverables utilizing contractors and/or 3rd party solution providers.
- Advanced proficiency level in Software Development, Software Design, Information System Strategies, SDLC Methodologies, Java, Cloud Solutions, Cloud Integrations, Relational Databases, L3 Support, Web Authoring tools, Organizational Leadership, Interpersonal Communication, Cross-Functional Collaborations and Troubleshooting (Problem Solving).
