The Network Engineer will maintain and design the customer’s complex internal network, including customer-facing hosted and cloud environments. They will provide expert technical assistance, secure and manage infrastructure to protect productivity, mitigate threats, and reduce costs. This role will design, implement, and test complex infrastructure in support of customer needs.

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education, training, or work/military experience.
• Minimum eight years of relevant experience, or additional experience may be substituted for a degree, with architecting and designing IP networks and associated technologies.

• In-depth understanding of networking: routing, switching, network monitoring and management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for network connectivity, security, and ability to work in cross-functional teams.
• Expertise in SDN engagements around Cisco ACI.
• Background in Cisco ACI design, planning, implementation, and testing in multi-data-center configurations.
• Team collaboration skills.
• Research new and innovative technologies to enhance the existing network.
• Define network strategy with respect to technology domain standards and design goals.
• Technical design and architectural leadership, including documentation and diagramming of logical, physical, and process views.
• Analysis of network traffic using various tools to assess security-related events.
• Experience designing, configuring, implementing, and troubleshooting network technologies and protocols.
• Experience designing, deploying, and maintaining boundary security solutions and exposure to enterprise network architecture.
• Hands-on experience with VXLAN/EVPN.

• Experience with Network Access Control and Segmentation.
• Experience with security compliance standards.
• Experience with site-to-site VPNs and/or remote access VPNs.
• Network programmability for automating tasks (Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Python, REST APIs).
• Experience with Data Center and co-location solutions related to SDN architecture and design.
• Next-Generation Firewall experience.
• Experience configuring/administrating Cisco ACI, Cisco DCNM, OTV, VMware NSX.
• Design and implement network reference architecture from requirements to rollout, including capacity management and technical documentation.
• Familiarity with SDN Network Disaggregation technologies, methodologies, and open-source solutions.
• Ability to brief complex information to senior leadership.
• Drive enhancements through full lifecycle from concept to implementation and support.

• Install and maintain network equipment.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues.
• Design network architectures based on customer requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop unique solutions that meet customer requirements.
• Collaborate with other IT disciplines to troubleshoot complex problems.
• Maintain configuration plans for Cisco ACI design in multi-data-center environments.
• Create architectural design solutions and present them to stakeholders.
• Work with infrastructure engineers to identify new products and solutions.
• Document maintenance for all computer systems and network infrastructure.
• Maintain systems and documentation for audits and compliance.
• Communicate with customers regarding incident progress, changes, or outages.
• Coach and support other engineers.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call and assist with issues outside normal business hours.
