The Computer Operations Technician provides Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support at Mountain Gateway Community College, assisting with troubleshooting, installation, and maintenance of computer hardware, networking equipment, and technology systems. The role maintains equipment inventory records and supports the organization’s computer replacement schedule while providing customer-focused technical assistance to faculty, staff, students, and other users.
Key qualifications:- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Associate Degree or equivalent education and experience; 1 to 2 years related technical experience
- Ability to troubleshoot technical problems systematically and efficiently
- Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping skills
