J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College seeks a Senior Systems and Security Analyst to provide senior-level technical and security support for the Department of Technology. The role administers Windows and Linux servers, manages identity and endpoint systems, conducts vulnerability assessments, and may lead major system implementations and respond to cybersecurity incidents. The position reports to the Manager of Infrastructure and Systems and provides leadership in their absence.
Keyqualifications:
- Knowledge of security best practices and server platforms (Windows and Linux)
- Knowledge of endpoint management systems and MS 365 applications
- Knowledge of Entra/Active Directory, account management, and networking technologies
- Knowledge of IT auditing and continuity planning
- Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field; security or IT certifications preferred
