Role summary
:

Drive product adoption, provide proactive problem avoidance, and recommend leading practices that help strategic customers accelerate digital transformations, secure cloud infrastructure, and scale cloud capabilities that serve the American people.

Job responsibilities:

• Lead technical activities across multiple work streams with key stakeholders and/or delivery partners that focus on cloud architectural advisory, operational excellence, and compliance.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams as a customer advocate focused on new products, features, and bug fixes that benefit government and education customers.
• Partner with Support, Product Engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering to plan for customer events and launches, and work with customers and Support to guide issues/escalations to resolution.
• Manage stakeholder relationships as trusted technical advisor, lead quarterly reviews, host executive sessions, and develop tactical plans that foster successful technical outcomes.

• United States citizen that will work from the United States.
• 4 years customer-facing experience managing cloud implementations or transformation programs that supported launch or capacity planning, product release management, technical support, escalation management, or consulting.
• 1 year hands‑on experience working with modern software development practices, microservices‑based architectures, distributed systems, and APIs, across a broad set of use‑cases.
• Holds at least one Cloud professional‑level certification while in the role.
• Ability to travel 30% of the time as needed.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

• Experience communicating complex concepts and influencing technical and non‑technical stakeholders at varying levels within an organization.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, problem‑solving, organizational, and client management skills.
• Calm under pressure.
• Ability to bring order to chaotic situations.
