We’re a growing Virginia-based law firm looking for an experienced Litigation Associate Attorney who wants real ownership
, flexibility
, and support without micromanagement
.

This role is ideal for an attorney who:

• Enjoys running cases end-to-end
• Is confident in court
• Values client relationships over high-volume churn
• Wants autonomy with structure (not chaos)

• Manage 30–50 active litigation matters independently
• Appear in court regularly across Northern VA
• Draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Communicate directly and proactively with '../../>
• Delegate effectively to paralegals and legal assistants
• Track time and cases accurately (Clio preferred)
• Operate with professionalism, composure, and follow-through

No client goes to trial without attorney contact. Period.

• 2–4+ years of litigation experience
• Family law and/or criminal defense background
• Active Virginia Bar license (in good standing)
• Courtroom confidence and strong legal writing skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal oversight
• Reliable transportation for court appearances

• Experience with Clio
• Exposuredouble to estate planning or VA disability matters
Exposure to estate planning or VA(text) matters
• Guardian ad litem experience
• Portable book of business (not required)
• Origination
