Account Manager | Supporting Safer Jobsites Through Safety Staffing, Site Inspections & Certification Training

Diversified Safety Services is seeking an experienced full-time, on-site Safety Manager to lead and oversee safety efforts on upcoming large-scale construction projects. These projects vary in scope and complexity, requiring a proven safety leader who can adapt to dynamic environments while ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.

Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of construction safety experience, new construction preferred.
• Demonstrated success managing safety programs as the lead professional, including supervising other safety staff on major projects of comparable size and scope.
• CSP or WSO-CSM certification preferred.
• Strong expertise in hazard identification, risk mitigation, and program-level safety oversight.
• Ability to manage project-level safety administration, reporting, and compliance documentation.
• Prior experience on complex, high-security, or transportation-related projects preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the lead safety authority on site, directing all aspects of construction safety across the project.
• Supervise and mentor Safety Engineers, coordinating their daily activities.
• Manage, enforce, and continuously improve project safety programs in alignment with contract requirements, GC expectations, and regulatory standards.
• Conduct regular audits, inspections, and safety program reviews to maintain a proactive safety culture.
• Provide administrative oversight, including reporting, documentation, and coordination with the project team.
• Foster collaboration with clients, GCs, and project leadership to ensure alignment on safety priorities.
