Shift Auto Group is looking for an experienced General Manager to lead the overall performance, profitability, and growth of ReCar Halifax and Wonder Auto Lower Sackville .
This is a high-impact leadership role for someone who wants to take ownership of the business, develop strong leaders, and create a culture where people and performance go hand in hand.
The OpportunityYou’ll have overall leadership responsibility across:
- Fixed Operations
- Customer Experience
- People Development
Your focus will be on two key areas:
Customer Opportunity Management
Ensure every opportunity is handled with urgency and consistency from the first inquiry through delivery; while coaching leaders and teams to maximize performance.
Inventory Performance
Ensure vehicles move efficiently from acquisition through reconditioning, merchandising, and retail sale while maintaining quality, controlling aging, and maximizing inventory turn.
This is a hands-on leadership role . You’ll spend your time working alongside your teams, coaching performance, solving problems, removing roadblocks, and ensuring the right processes are being executed every day.
What We’re Looking ForWe’re looking for a leader who:
- Has proven experience as a General Manager, GSM, or senior automotive leader
- Understands what drives dealership performance and profitability
- Builds strong teams and develops future leaders
- Is highly organized, accountable, and results-driven
- Leads by example and is comfortable being hands-on
- Has a passion for the automotive business and customer experience
- Is ready to take on a significant leadership opportunity and make a real impact
