The Opportunity:

Exciting opportunity for an Afternoon Shift Machine Operator at Arnott's Virginia. This is a perfect role for a person who has the competency to operate machinery whilst working in a fast-paced environment. If you thrive on challenges and can provide practical solutions to complex problems this role is for you.

The Accountabilities:

• Set up, changeovers, operating and troubleshooting of equipment within Arnott's OH&S, Quality and Performance Standards
• Completion of quality control checks online
• Perform process area cleaning to maintain company compliance, GMP and HACCP standards.
• Work autonomously and as team member to deliver daily production requirements against performance criteria

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

• Previous automated machine operating experience working in a food manufacturing environment
• Strong mechanical aptitude and a proven ability to troubleshoot on machines and problem solve the quality attributes of our products
• Understanding of team, safety, and quality operating principles in a food manufacturing environment
• Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Able to complete a full medical and mechanical aptitude testing upon request
