**** This position works out of our Altavista, VA location in the Abbott Nutrition division.

** What You’ll Work On
*** Safely operate both complex and standard high-speed production equipment that makes our industry-leading nutrition products
* Maintain inventory of packaging materials
* Complete workorder documentation
* Perform quality checks
* Clean equipment and the production environment
* Troubleshoot equipment issues

You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures.
** Required Qualifications
*** High school diploma or GED
* 6 months prior manufacturing experience
* Good written/verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills, analytical troubleshooting skills and the ability to multitask
** Preferred Qualifications
*** Knowledge of applicable regulatory standards and requirements for infant formula and nutritionals
* Experience with tools and equipment related to the position or experience as a Sr. Production Equipment Operator is desired
