Plant Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

Responsibilities- Promote safety – prioritize safety throughout the operation in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
- Repair and maintain plant equipment, including screen changes, conveyor belt repair and adjustment, wear parts replacement, crusher liner changes, water pump service, and cutting, grinding, welding as needed.
- Inspect equipment and structures – perform daily inspections to ensure safe, reliable, and compliant operations.
- Monitor processes and materials – review aggregate crushing, washing, and screening areas to identify problems and ensure safety and compliance.
- Document and record information – enter and maintain service and lubrication reports.
- Perform general physical activities – cleaning, washing, sweeping, shoveling materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Preferred:
Previous experience in the aggregate or construction industry. - Preferred:
Knowledge of best practices in industrial maintenance, construction, or aggregate production. - Must have mechanical skills – knowledge of industrial tools and maintenance.
- Must be flexible to work overtime, extended hours, and in all weather conditions, tolerating loud noises.
Hourly Range: $23.88 – $34.00 / hour (exclusive of discretionary bonus or equity).
Shift differential: additional 10% on base pay for night‑shift hours.
