Job Overview
Join to apply for the Radiology - Radiology RN - Travel Nurse role at Total Med
. This is an immediate travel nurse opening in Henrico, VA for an RN with 1-2 years recent acute care experience.
- Start or check peripheral IVs, access and assess infusion ports, administer medications, monitor vital signs, suction patients, insert Foley catheters, and assist patients with personal needs.
- Inform the technologist or radiologist of any unusual patient needs.
- Perform specialized nursing duties such as administering IV sedation or analgesia during special procedures.
- Closely monitor patients with cardiac pulse oximeters.
RNs must be able to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean, stoop with ease, and lift up to 20 pounds routinely, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds. Careful attention to chemical and infectious disease hazards is required.
Qualifications- BLS certification
- 2 years of recent acute care experience
- Additional certifications may be required before beginning an assignment.
