- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care of individuals with serious mental illness in both acute and chronic phases.
- Think critically to manage multiple priorities and complex care situations.
- Formulate and implement broad‑based nursing actions and individualized treatment interventions.
- Lead group dynamics and supervise staff performance, providing actionable feedback and delegation in accordance with regulations.
- Collaborate, problem‑solve, and negotiate with the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team and all departments and disciplines.
- Utilize effective oral and written communication skills.
- Apply knowledge of pharmacology, psychiatric and physical conditions, and the biopsychosocial needs of patients.
- Active RN license to practice in VA or license eligible; multi‑state compact endorsement accepted.
- Demonstrated customer service experience.
- Bachelor’s Science in Nursing.
