LPN 13 Week Temp – Riverside Health

Join to apply for the Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) role in a 13‑week temporary assignment at Riverside Health. The position is designed to support resident care in our short‑stay facilities.

Contributes to the development, maintenance, or modifications of individual service plans. Identifies changes in residents’ conditions, documents them in accordance with nursing practice standards, and demonstrates consistent follow‑through for positive resident outcomes. Utilizes good judgment and specialized skills to ensure quality care.

• Work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, Nurse Manager or Nursing Supervisor and report ultimately to the Director of Nursing or Assistant Director of Nursing and Director of Quality Care Management.
• Monitor residents, participate in the planning, implementation and evaluation of nursing care, and provide emotional, physical comfort and safety to residents and their families.
• Assist in the supervision of auxiliary personnel; assign duties to non‑professional staff such as CNAs based on education, training, policy and resident need to assure quality care.
• Allow resident choices within limits of capability while observing safety, dignity and facility policies, including privacy and dignity guidelines.
• Contribute to the development, maintenance or modification of individual service plans and provide consistent documentation and follow‑through for positive outcomes.

Experience
Less than 1 year of nursing experience (Preferred).

Licenses and Certifications

• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) – Virginia Department of Health Professions (VDHP). Upon Hire (Required).
• CPR/BLS Certification – American Heart Association/American Red Cross/American Safety and Health Institute (AHA/ARC) within 30 days (Required).

Competitive pay ranging from $62,146 to $87,870 annually, commensurate with experience.
