Overview
Countryside Veterinary Clinic, a small animal general practice in Henrico, VA, is looking to fill a newly created role, Hospital Assistant.
As a hospital assistant you will rotate through the different roles of the clinic - customer service representative, veterinary assistant, surgical assistant, and kennel technician.
Responsibilities- Ensuring medical records are kept up to date.
- Invoicing clients.
- Clerical work.
- Obtaining medical history.
- Restraint for the doctors and veterinary technicians.
- Filling doctor prescribed medications.
- Running lab samples in clinic.
- Taking care of boarders.
- Holding for vet techs to sedate surgical patients.
- Cleaning up surgery, surgical instruments, wrapping packs.
