Job Summary
This role offers an opportunity to build a meaningful career in public safety while serving the community. Individuals in this position are trained to provide emergency medical services, fight fires, perform rescues, and support fire safety and prevention efforts.

Employees work within an established deployment model that includes paramedic engines, 24-hour shifts, and a 56-hour work week. Work station and duty assignments are determined based on operational needs.

Selection CriteriaApplicants must meet the following requirements:
- Must be at least 18 years of age by the date of hire
- Must possess a valid drivers license at the time of application
- Must have a combination of education and experience equivalent to a high school diploma or GED by the date of hire
- Applicants with an active application should not reapply
Background checks may be required and can include, but are not limited to:
- Criminal history checks
- Credit history checks
- Education and license verification
- Fingerprinting
In accordance with applicable emergency medical services regulations, additional requirements may include a criminal background check conducted through state and national databases, as well as a driving record transcript from the applicants state department of motor vehicles.
