Salary Range: $50,000 - $77,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Perform calibration and preventative maintenance on metrology equipment.
- Conduct precision measurements of manufactured components and assemblies.
- Analyze measurement data and generate detailed reports for quality control.
- Troubleshoot and resolve measurement discrepancies and equipment issues.
- Ensure all measurement activities comply with relevant industry standards (e.g., ISO, ANSI).
- Maintain accurate records of calibration activities, equipment history, and measurement results.
- Provide technical support and training to production and engineering teams on measurement techniques.
- Proficiency in operating and programming various metrology equipment (e.g., CMM, vision systems, optical comparators, hand tools).
- Strong ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Solid understanding of measurement principles, calibration methodologies, and basic statistical analysis.
- Experience with metrology software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) for data acquisition and reporting.
- Technical degree or certification in Metrology, Quality Assurance, or a related manufacturing discipline.
- CMM Programming experience (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS)
- Proficiency in CAD software for model-based inspection and analysis
- Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) charting and analysis
- ASQ Certification (e.g., Certified Quality Technician)
- Ability to perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting of metrology equipment
