Quality Control Supervisor-Electrical

The Quality Control Supervisor reports to the Quality Control Manager and is responsible for ensuring the quality assurance plan is implemented, identifying and addressing quality issues, and controlling non‑conforming deliverables.

• Supervise QCI’s and establish and maintain scheduling of field work.
• Perform all supervisory paperwork such as pre‑job briefs.
• Participate in the preparation and execution of the Inspection and Test Plans.
• Conduct quality inspections in accordance with relevant codes and customer specifications, including:
• Dimensional inspections.
• Visual welding inspections.
• Hardness testing.
• Positive material identification.
• Review certified material test reports as required.
• Perform internal weld monitoring as required.
• Complete all associated documentation and forms for individual inspections.
• Develop and maintain a cost‑of‑quality tracking system.
• Track non‑conformance reports and corrective/preventative action requests.

• Certification(s) in Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Auditor (CQA), and/or ISO‑9000 Auditor.
• Experience developing and/or managing audit systems.
• CWB Level 2 visual inspection certification.
• Knowledge of ASME III, N285 and N299.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Computer literate in MS Office.
• Previous supervisory experience.
