Salary Range: $42,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

The OpportunityWe are partnering with organizations in Mattawan that are seeking Quality Technicians. Key Responsibilities- Perform in-process, final, and incoming material inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and drawings.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, CMM) to verify product dimensions and characteristics.
- Document inspection results accurately, identifying and reporting non-conformances or deviations from quality standards.
- Assist in the investigation of quality issues, root cause analysis, and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- Maintain and calibrate quality inspection equipment and tools according to established schedules and procedures.
- Support the maintenance of quality records, data collection, and generation of quality reports.
- Conduct product and process audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- High school diploma or GED required;
Associate's degree in a technical field preferred. - 1-3 years of experience in a manufacturing quality assurance role.
- Proficiency in using precision measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges, CMM).
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications, including GD&T.
- Familiarity with quality control methodologies and tools such as SPC, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) software.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification or similar continuous improvement training.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab).
- Experience with CMM programming or advanced metrology equipment.
- Familiarity with specific industry quality standards (e.g., AS9100, ISO 13485, IATF 16949).
