The Quality Control Scientist supports manufacturing operations by performing laboratory testing to ensure product quality, compliance, and regulatory alignment. This role plays a key part in maintaining cGMP laboratory standards
, supporting routine testing workflows, and contributing to overall product safety and consistency within a leading animal health environment.
- Test samples from manufacturing using appropriate assays and good aseptic practices to ensure quality and compliance.
- Maintain testing schedules and manage reagent supplies to support uninterrupted laboratory operations.
- Complete all documentation according to cGMP guidelines
. - Clean, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment, instrumentation, and facilities.
- Follow all Quality Standards, Policies, and Procedures.
- Provide minimal input for laboratory investigations (LIR) and offer limited project support as needed.
- Utilize QC software platforms, including MODA EM and zLIMS/SAP.
- Perform pipetting tasks with accuracy and consistency.
- Prepare media and reagents as required for routine workflows.
- Conduct Media Fill inspections and equipment monitoring.
- Follow all applicable safety practices in laboratory environments.
- Experience working in a cGMP-regulated laboratory environment.
- Hands‑on experience with aseptic techniques and laboratory documentation compliance.
- Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment.
Experience:
- Participation in laboratory investigations (LIR).
- Exposure to automated or digital QC systems.
- Experience with media preparation or Media Fill inspections.
- Aseptic technique
- cGMP documentation compliance
- Laboratory instrumentation operation
Skills:
- Familiarity with MODA EM
- Experience with zLIMS or SAP
- Equipment monitoring
- Reagent/media preparation
- Pipetting precision
Skills:
- Understanding of QC software packages
