Overview
The Department of Molecular Physiology and Biological Physics seeks a scientist at the Research Assistant Professor Level to help lead a biochem/structural biology program under the direction of Ling Qi, Ph.D. This Research Associate Professor (RAP) will support and expand our research program in the molecular mechanisms of endoplasmic reticulum-associated degradation (ERAD) in mammalian systems. This position is essential to advance our NIH-funded work on the SEL1L-HRD1 ERAD complex and its role in protein quality control, metabolic regulation, and disease pathogenesis, including ongoing projects such as R01DK
143292 and R01AG
