Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 7:00am - 3:30pm

*** This position is located within a jail/correctional facility and would be working around inmates. This position will be working out of two locations.***

The primary responsibility of a Commissary Operations Team Member is to assist in providing commissary operations and services to assigned location within a jail environment (position works directly with inmates).

This includes:

• Delivering product within a canteen at specified correctional facility with the supervision of a correctional officer in a timely and efficient manner following all rules and regulations
• Assisting onsite manager with completion of monthly canteen inventories
• Maintaining all areas/equipment/products in a neat, clean, and orderly manner and maintaining American Correctional Association & American Jail Association standards/guidelines when applicable
• Follow all the policies and procedures
• Take pride in your surroundings by helping maintain a clean workspace
• Other duties as determined by the needs of the business
• Must have experience in grocery or retail
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
• Must have good customer skills and like working in a fast paced position
• Must have a valid driver's license due to this position will be working out of two locations

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be a self-starter who can work well with people in a correctional facility in a professional, upbeat manner.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Familiarity with computers (including Microsoft Office programs) preferred.
