Position: Account Manager - Public Safety / Forensics (United States Mid-Atlantic Region) Mid-Atlantic

Account Manager – Public Safety / Forensics (United States Mid-Atlantic Region)

Join FARO Technologies as an Account Manager through which you will be responsible for generating sales revenues, delivering product demonstrations, evaluating customer requirements, and identifying additional sales opportunities within the Mid-Atlantic region. The role is fully remote and ideally based in a major market within DC, MD, VA or PA.

Responsibilities
  • Execute sales opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Provide on-site demonstrations and generate revenue.
  • Identify and develop additional sales opportunities.
  • Evaluate customer requirements, including workflow processes, grant/funding sources, and investigative techniques.
  • Utilize all available resources, including sales management, inside sales specialists, applications engineers, and marketing teams.
  • Work as part of the sales team to generate ideas for company sales opportunities, processes, and systems.
  • Provide technical support to potential customers during the evaluation period.
  • Provide feedback to FARO R&D for product improvement.
Qualifications
  • Background in sales to local, state, or federal governments.
  • Experience selling capital equipment, perpetual software and SaaS – especially scanning lasers or forensic equipment/public safety capital equipment.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, engineering, forensic science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Demonstrated ability to isolate and identify technical problems, formulate, and demonstrate solutions.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within territory.
  • Valid driver’s license with an excellent driving record.
