Job SummaryResponsible for servicing specific accounts, types of accounts, and/or a specific geographical area as assigned by the Manager. Generate new and continued product sales and communicate technical aspects of products and customer specifications.
Responsibilities- Sales and field support of all forecasted products to the territory or customer base assigned.
- Conduct training for customers and potential customers in the assigned area.
- Maintain technical understanding to serve as a competent trainer and problem solver.
- Coordinate field training within the assigned area utilizing factory personnel where appropriate.
- Conduct sales calls to increase TIC business.
- Provide current customers with competent service in all areas of sales support, before and after order entry.
- Attend conventions, exhibits, and meetings to stay current with industry trends.
- Maximize time with current and potential customers and buying influences.
- Provide the Manager and product departments with product requirement/acceptability information.
- Meet or exceed sales targets assigned by the Manager.
- Contribute to the overall growth of Toshiba products.
- Provide input data and supporting information for monthly and annual sales forecasts.
25%–50% travel required.
Skills and Experience- Minimum 5 years of sales experience or equivalent.
- Proven record of significant accomplishments.
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or equivalent experience.
Physical RequirementsPosition requires standing, walking, and traveling as outlined above.
CompensationBase salary range of $75,000–$90,000 plus a competitive commission package.
