The Account Manager is responsible for the sale of roof and floor wood component sales and services by developing and maintaining customer contacts in the Pearisburg / Southern VA region.
** Principle Duties and Responsibilities
*** Services and maintains positive relationships with current customer base
* Identify customer needs and solve problems
* Understand and perform cost savings analysis for customers
* Generates new sales by promoting product line to new and existing customers
* Troubleshoots problems for customer
* Qualify customers’ creditworthiness
* Monitors sales market in assigned region
* Prepares various reports as required
* Accounts receivable management
* Month-end inventory participation
* Performs other duties as required
** Qualifications
* ** Preferred bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related area
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in relevant building material sales, selling roof and floor trusses
* Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and other software for business applications
* Preferred manufacturing background, but not required
* Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP’s organization, culture, and product lines
** Compensation
* * Salary Pay Range dependent on experience, geographical location, commission structure, and cost of living adjustments. Variable compensation may be available.
