Position Overview:We are seeking highly professional Unarmed Security Officers to provide safety, presence, and proactive customer service at a busy retail center during peak holiday weekends. Officers will be assigned to patrol high-traffic areas, manage pedestrian and vehicle movement, and de-escalate any disruptive situations. This is a seasonal position with scheduled dates in November and December 2025

Officer Responsibilities:Check in with the on-site manager upon arrival for updates and instructions.
Complete an arrival report and confirm contact with management.
Patrol and maintain visibility in high-traffic zones throughout the site.
Keep foot and vehicle traffic moving efficiently to avoid congestion.
Deploy traffic cones as directed by the manager or site supervisor.
Respond to incidents calmly and de-escalate conflicts when necessary.
Submit detailed incident reports following any events.
Officers must wear the issued uniform and high-visibility safety vest at all times.
Must carry a fully charged phone with GPS/location tracking enabled.
Phone use is strictly limited to dispatch communication

Use of headphones or earbuds while on duty is strictly prohibited.
Maintain a professional demeanor and treat all customers, visitors, and staff with courtesy and respect.
RequirementsQualifications:
Prior experience in security or customer-facing roles preferred.
Licensed in the state of Virginia to perform security duties or eligible to acquire one.
Excellent situational awareness and ability to remain calm under pressure.
Strong verbal communication and report-writing skills.
Reliable transportation and punctuality are a must.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
