As a part‑time Armed Patrol Officer, you will monitor and patrol government locations, providing a visible presence to deter incidents and ensuring a secure environment for all.
Position Type: Part Time
Pay Rate: $18.25 / Hour
Job Schedule: Daytime – Mon 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM;
Sun 08:00 AM – 04:00 PM

What You’ll Do
- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly and problem‑solving.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential threats and suspicious behaviors.
- Monitor and report any unusual activity or security‑related concerns promptly to the appropriate authorities.
- Assist with access control and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by policy.
- Collaborate with local authorities and emergency services during incidents when necessary.
- Complete detailed and accurate reports regarding incidents, patrols, and other security activities.
Minimum Requirements
- At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
- Valid armed guard card or license.
- At least 21 years of age.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Background investigation and drug screen as required by law.
- Participation in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements subject to state and local regulations.
