Special Agent, $40,000 Recruitment Incentive

Join the U.S. Secret Service as a Special Agent, with a $40,000 recruitment incentive. The role involves courageous, intelligent, strong, and determined individuals who can balance investigative mission and protective legacy.

Base pay range is $48,371.00/yr - $/yr. A recruitment incentive of $40,000 may be eligible in accordance with regulatory requirements.

Duties:
Special agents carry out assignments in investigations and protection, and may be assigned to multiple duty stations.

Duties include:

• Providing protection for various protectees.
• Conducting criminal investigations.
• Planning and implementing security designs for National Special Security Events.

Requirements:

• U.S. citizenship is required.
• Possess a current valid driver's license.
• Carry and use a firearm, and maintain firearm proficiency.
• Be at least age 21 and less than age 37 at the time of application.
• Obtain a Top Secret Clearance and retain it during your career.
• Possess uncorrected visual acuity of no worse than 20/100 binocular.
• Hearing loss must not exceed 25 decibels in either ear.
• Submit to a drug test prior to appointment and random drug testing.
• Complete 13 weeks of intensive training and 18 weeks of specialized training.
• Sign a mobility agreement stating willingness to accept assignments anywhere.
• Certify registration with the Selective Service System or exemption.
