As a Security Officer - Unarmed Facility in Prince George, VA
, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage and more. As a Part‑Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a food and beverage location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help maintain a secure environment.

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter, helping to deter unwanted activity and identify potential issues.
• Monitor for unusual or suspicious activity and report findings according to site protocols.
• Assist employees, visitors, and vendors with access and directions as needed within the food and beverage facility.
• Support Allied Universal leadership in maintaining a secure environment by following all post orders and instructions specific to the location.

• Proof of high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• A guard card or security license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
