- Provide customer service and carry out security‑related procedures following site‑specific policies.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and its perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for unusual activity or potential threats and report findings to the appropriate personnel.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter potential issues and provide reassurance.
- Complete detailed incident reports as required by site protocols.
- Assist visitors, employees, and contractors with inquiries while maintaining access control protocols.
- Follow all Allied Universal policies, procedures, and site‑specific instructions.
- Participate in emergency response activities, including evacuations or lockdowns.
- Maintain professional interactions with clients, staff, and the public while upholding the reputation of Allied Universal.
- At least 6 months of security‑related experience.
- Armed guard card or license.
- Minimum age 21 for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Subject to background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- Subject to drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.
