Controls Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Controls Electrician responsible for panel assembly, mechanical subassemblies, and installation of housings, cabinets, electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components. The role involves positioning and connecting wiring harnesses, cables, and lead wires, terminating wiring and components, and attaching and fastening terminal lugs, connector pins, and other devices. You will also be required to perform drilling, tapping, crimping, and soldering tasks.

• Assemble control panels and mechanical subassemblies.
• Install housings, cabinets, electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components.
• Position and connect wiring harnesses, cables, and lead wires.
• Terminate wiring and components accurately.
• Attach and fasten terminal lugs, connector pins, and other devices to wiring.
• Perform tasks such as drilling, tapping, crimping, and soldering.
• Follow verbal and written instructions to perform electrical and mechanical tasks using fabrication drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and wire lists.
• Complete detailed and accurate as‑built and quality control documentation.

• Experience in electrical troubleshooting and mechanical assembly.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical and electrical drawings.
• At least four years of experience working in the electrical industry.
• Current and valid United States driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Willing to submit a background check and drug test.

• Experience with electrical assembly and control systems.
• Proficient in wiring, repair, and blueprint interpretation.

Work in a climate‑controlled, well‑lit, and clean environment. The schedule is currently Monday to Friday, 6 am – 4:30 pm, with additional hours on Saturdays and Sundays due to current demands. However, this is not a permanent schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Henrico, VA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 – $29.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Henrico, VA.
